This policy explains how refunds are reviewed and processed for purchases made through Occult Science Spiritual Hub.
1. Reporting an Issue
Please report damaged, defective, or incorrect products within 4 calendar days of delivery, as proposed in our Return & Exchange Policy. Confirm this period before publication. Any mandatory rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
2. When a Refund May Be Considered
A refund may be considered where a damaged, defective, or incorrect product has been verified; an eligible cancellation is accepted before dispatch; an eligible return is approved; or an order cannot be delivered and is confirmed undeliverable. Requests are reviewed in line with our policies and applicable law.
3. Refund Processing
Once approved, a refund will generally be initiated within 5–7 business days. The time for funds to appear in the customer’s account depends on the payment provider or bank. Any shorter statutory deadline that applies will take precedence.
4. Prepaid Orders
For UPI, debit card, credit card, net banking, or other supported online payments, approved refunds will generally be sent to the original payment method where possible.
5. Cash on Delivery Orders
For eligible COD orders, an alternative refund method may be arranged after verification and confirmation with the customer. Payment details should be provided only through a reasonably secure and verified channel. We will never require a customer to disclose an OTP, UPI PIN, card PIN, or banking password to receive a refund.
6. Cancellation and Undeliverable Orders
For eligible orders cancelled before dispatch, applicable refunds will be initiated after cancellation is confirmed. For orders that have already been dispatched or are returned as undeliverable, the outcome will depend on the order circumstances, the applicable policy, and legal requirements.
7. Shipping Charges and Adjustments
Shipping charges and any other adjustments will be handled according to the reason for the refund, the terms disclosed before purchase, and applicable law. Any deduction or adjustment will be explained to the customer and will not be applied where prohibited by law.
